In the historic center of Florence is its most perfect piazza, where five roads meet and an ancient tower stands proud. Created in 1286 by Pacino d'Arnolfo Peruzzi and his brothers on the site of a former amphitheater, this is Piazza de Peruzzi. The jewel in this evocative setting is the Peruzzi Tower, built by one of the most important families in Florence and now owned by another: the Malenchini, owners of another beauty just a few steps away from Florence, at the doorsteps of the Chianti, vineyards and olive fields: Villa Medicea di Lilliano wine estate.

The Peruzzi Tower has always made a powerful statement of prestige and elegance. The Malenchini family has lovingly maintained that tradition, preserving its historic exterior whilst transforming its rooms into the luxury apartments that are today known as Peruzzi Residences.

The latest enhancement to Peruzzi Residences is our 1950s-styled wine bar, which captures the exuberance of the era in its colorful décor. Every evening our guests can enjoy the irresistible wines still produced at the Malenchini family’s Villa Medicea di Lilliano wine estate nearby, plus classic Italian drinks of the period, all accompanied by a joyous soundtrack of ‘50s hits.
